Palencia, home to the first university in Spain, and Valladolid, the capital of the region, are excellent destinations in Spain for foreign students that wish to learn or improve their Spanish quickly. Located in Northern Spain, both cities are welcoming, safe, and well-connected and offer countless cultural and sports events all year round. 

During our intensive Spanish courses, you will improve your language skills and will have an unforgettable experience while discovering a new culture. Our courses are organized in small groups and are instructed by highly experienced native teachers. Our language centres in both Palencia and Valladolid are located in the city centre, which will give you the opportunity to explore the most vibrant areas of these cities. In addition, we offer high-quality cultural activities that will help you understand and practice Spanish.

We also offer one-to-one classes for those who prefer a more personalized learning experience. Whether you want to improve faster, pass an upcoming test, or are unable to join a group, our one-to-one classes can cater to your specific needs.

Student accommodation

• Comfortable, safe accommodation plays an essential role when going abroad to study a foreign language – we always try our best to make you feel at home!
• Types of accommodation: Residence, student flat or Spanish host family.

If you have chosen to take one of our intensive courses in Palencia or Valladolid, we optionally offer accommodation in a residence, a shared flat or with a Spanish host family in both cities. The most recommendable type of accommodation for full immersion in the Spanish language and culture is living with a host family, as this allows our students to fully discover the Spanish culture, life, and people.

Our families are carefully chosen, and we keep in constant contact with them. The host family helps students to get to know Spain better and integrate them into the Spanish culture through sharing their gastronomy, interacting with them, and living together. On the first day, they’ll show students their way to their school and everything the student may need to easily move around the city, such as public transport, shops, places of interest, etc. We consider family involvement to be one of the most important parts of the program.

On the other hand, if you choose a student flat or a residence, you will share your accommodation with other students. The apartments are fully equipped and located in safe areas close to the school.

General information on accommodation

• Accommodation during your course is optional and can be arranged from Saturday before the course begins until Saturday morning after the end of your course.
• If it is not possible for the student to arrange arrival and departure times in accordance with these days, extra nights can also be arranged for an additional charge.
• To ensure availability, please make sure you book your accommodation well in advance. Every effort will be made to arrange accommodation as requested. However, this cannot be guaranteed in the case of late bookings, especially for accommodation from July to September.
• Accommodation cannot be arranged without booking a course.
• There may be a deposit of €200 on arrival that will be refunded on your departure provided there is no damage to your accommodation.
